Rob Van Etten
President & CEO

Rob is responsible for the strategic vision and direction of Brighton Cromwell. Rob founded Brighton Cromwell in 2004 with his late father, Bill Van Etten and his brother, Glenn Van Etten. He took over as President & CEO in 2005 following the untimely death of his Father. Rob quickly took the reins of the company and despite the adversity the company immediately grew over 100%.

Rob’s vision was to create the best supply chain management company and for Brighton Cromwell to be a leader in integrated supply. He helped lay the foundation for their industry leading, proprietary supply chain system SEDNA which features SEDNASearch™.

SEDNASearch™ is a patent pending sourcing technology that is the culmination of years of experience and technical knowhow that has enabled Brighton Cromwell to quickly and accurately source any part the Department of Defense utilizes using our proprietary search process. Rob continually pushes the envelope of improving the form and functionality of technology at Brighton Cromwell to better serve our customers.

The company has grown nearly 10,000% since first year’s revenue. Our growth has led to Brighton Cromwell being named by Deloitte as the fastest growing technology company in New Jersey, Entrepreneur Magazine’s fastest growing defense company in the United States, and being listed on the Inc. 5000. Rob is known as an industry leader in both Supply Chain and Entrepreneurship. He was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the top 30 entrepreneurs under the age of 30 in 2008 and named as a finalist in 2009 by Ernst & Young New Jersey Entrepreneur of the Year® under the category of Emerging Entrepreneur. Rob is also featured in Donna Fenn’s book Upstarts!: How GenY Entrepreneurs are Rocking the World of Business and 8 Ways You Can Profit from Their Success.

Mr. Van Etten graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Marketing and a minor in Economics. He currently sits on the University of Delaware Alfred Lerner School of Business & Economics Alumni Board of Directors. Rob is married with two children.

Glenn Van Etten
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer

Glenn is responsible for the financial oversight and reporting of Brighton Cromwell. Glenn is one of the company’s founders.

Upon joining Brighton Cromwell, Glenn was tasked with creating and implementing a logistics system that would accommodate for growth and ensure core objectives. The growth management was critical because of the fact that it would be the highest the company had ever seen.

Between 2003 and 2008 the company grew by 10,000%. Despite some minor setbacks, the structure held and there was a new challenge ahead. In 2005, Glenn became the CFO of Brighton Cromwell. Again he was tasked with a near impossible challenge. The goal on paper was simple, but the reality was anything but. He had to financially handle the ever increasing need for capital as the company doubled in size every single year while at the same time was tasked with keeping the company 100% privately held without venture capital.

This is a task that very few CFOs have been capable of doing. He is very proud to say as of 2009 the company is the strongest they have ever been and are still 100% privately held.

Glenn graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Glenn is married with a child.

Terence Cusick
Executive Vice-President of Business Development

Terence is responsible for identifying and developing new lines of business as well as new long term programs that contribute to growth.

Terence joined Brighton Cromwell in 2007 as Vice-President of Sales. Under Terence’s leadership he helped develop the distribution division of Brighton Cromwell as well as developed key relationships in support of kits, long-term contracts, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs. He was promoted to Executive Vice-President of Business Development in 2009 and has played an important role in the capture efforts of very large PBL contracts and other strategic opportunities.

Prior to joining Brighton Cromwell, Terence led a very successful career in the department of defense supply chain management industry. He spent 13 years at SAIC/Procurenet. He started his career there working in the warehouse and moved up through the ranks until he earned the title of Sales Manager.

While at Procurenet, Terence played an instrumental role in the capture effort and implementation of major programs and initiatives. During his tenure, he worked on the Fleet Automotive Support Initiative (FASI) and Automotive Prime Vendor Worldwide (APVW) which led to multi-billion dollar programs for SAIC. In addition, he helped build the company’s distribution business, which he ultimately grew by over 350%.

Terence graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
